MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!



Once again, this card is made as a school assignment, using CorelDRAW 12, although I still used Photoshop for the background... Anyway, it's written "FELIZ NAVIDAD", I know it's not very clear, I made it manually... xD
FYI, according to Wikipedia:
Feliz Navidad is a Spanish phrase meaning "Merry Christmas" (literally "Happy Nativity").

Before it's already too late, I guess I'd better post the videos now... I've just finished uploading them all to YT; been too lazy. There were 10 teams in total, but I only uploaded 9 of them, because of some reasons... (read behind the cut if you're curious) xD
Now it's time for my school's event, Don Bosco 2 Cup 2009, entitled "MUSIC 3LOGY", which was held from 14 to 21 November 2009. Anyway, I gotta 'sneak out' to record the whole thing - I was originally assigned as a crew in the F&B (Food & Beverage) / Consumption division, but whatever - I bet there's nobody in the Documentation division wanted to do the recording, and I REALLY don't wanna miss this, so... yeah. After all, it's only 2 hours! xD
Too bad that all the three winners couldn't perform on the final closing day... I thought people should see how awesome they were, especially St. Ursula... xD

So far, this team rules. I mean, when it comes to this contest, no one beats them - they're simply the best of all. They've won the 1st place @ CC Cup, so no doubt they automatically won in DB2. When I saw them, I was like, "OK, this means no chance for the rest of the contestants to win the 1st place if the team from St. Ursula is here." Well, they deserve it - although hopefully they could renew their concept for next year. =)

"Conga Fury" by Juno Reactor.
It's a pretty old song, but I first listened to it in the soundtrack album of "The Animatrix" (2003) and I think this track is just awesome. It's like a quite long instrumental (approx. 8 minutes), a fusion of psychedelic trance, techno, and tribal; but I never grow tired of hearing it. Great tune if you're feelin' like doing a revenge... or need an inspiration. xD

P.S.: Originally from the album "Bible of Dreams" (1997). The "Original Mix" version and the "Animatrix Mix" version are almost the same; basically, both versions are great. =)

A few days ago, more specifically on Friday, 20 November 2009 was the 17th birthday of my friend, Angelika Surya Veronika (angelika20). I know it's already so late, but better late than never, right? xD *sorry, dear!*

It's been awhile since I posted in my journal... well, last Friday I went to SMA Kolese Kanisius (Canisius College) in Menteng, Jakarta Pusat. There was an annual school event held in there, called CC Cup (Canisius College Cup), which is a week full of competition of sports and arts (mostly sports) among high schools in Jakarta. I went there just to watch and record the Modern Dance competition, which has always been of my interest. So, if you like it also, maybe you'll be interested to watch these videos. There were 12 performances from 11 schools, but I forgot to record one of them, so there are only 11 videos. Enjoy! =)

Let's hope for the best for the next four years, not just for them, but also for the entire members of the "Indonesia Bersatu" cabinet. It's not gonna be an easy period to be passed through, but I believe they will strive for the sake of this nation. Just like their motto, "Continue!" (Lanjutkan!)

Student, obviously. xD

Today, my sister, Karolina, went to Bumi Mandiri Center (BMC) to join the Basic Training of Leadership (read: Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan or LDK). It's a compulsory training for any students who want to join the Student Committee (read: Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah or OSIS). She'll be back on Friday, though... I'll be missing her.

LIN, I MISS YOUUU~... (even that sounds kinda lebay to me)

FYI, OSIS is an organization of students, which are formed in Junior High School (read: Sekolah Menengah Pertama or SMP) and Senior High School (read: Sekolah Menengah Atas/Umum or SMA or SMU). Its duty is to organize and take care of certain school activities which are held from students to students, such as orientation week for new students, art and talent performance, school's competition, education fair, etc.
